The Frankenmuth Jaycee is volunteer organization, which offers its members the opportunity to become involved in their community to create a better place to live, work, and play. The Frankenmuth Jaycees work throughout the year on various fundraising projects to be able to help support our local community efforts.

On July 4, 2009 we held our 34th annual Volksläufe, one of the chapter’s oldest fundraising events. With the volunteer efforts of our members and the support of our community the 2009 Volksläufe was a success thanks to the over 2,500 runners, 6,000 spectators, and the 450 volunteers that participated. After the conclusion of the event, the Frankenmuth Jaycee’s allocated all the monies raised by the Volksläufe in an effort to keep Saginaw County, and Frankenmuth, an outstanding place to live, work, worship and play! Some of the beneficiaries of these funds were: Frankenmuth Parks and Recreation, Frankenmuth City Beautification, Junior Achievement, Frankenmuth Fire Department, and Frankenmuth Police Department
