All races will begin and end in to the beautiful setting of Frankenmuth’s Heritage Park and to keep with the Bavarian experience, are clearly marked in Kilometers. A cannon shot will set the first race along their designated route. Bands, dance groups, and spirited race fans provided added entertainment along the routes of all races. Runners will conclude their journey crossing over world's longest covered bridge built in the 20th century, and then moving downhill to finish to the “oom-pah-pah” sounds of the sounds of the Frankentrost Band as they are welcomed by 6,000 spectators in the picnic like setting of Heritage Park.
The Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland 10K is the first race to commence and begins sharply at 8am. The first 5K are a serene five country kilometers while the last 5K will have runners racing through the quiet neighborhoods of historic Frankenmuth. 10K Course Map

The Frankenmuth Jaycee's 20K race begins at 8:10am. The course provides competitors a flat, fast fifteen kilometers through Frankenmuth's countryside, past neighborhood farms, across the Cass River on the Historic Beyer Road pedestrian bridge, with the final 5K winding participants through Frankenmuth's residential neighborhoods. <20K Course Map>

The Bavarian Inn Restaurant 5K run takes off at 10am through the quiet, residential neighborhood of Frankenmuth providing a fast and exciting race for both spectators and runners alike. The 5K walk begins at 10:02am and follows the same route as the 5K run. 5K Walkers you may race walk, slow walk, saunter, shuffle/speed walk, power walk, but you MAY NOT RUN <5K Course Map>

The Jaami's Jams & Jellies 2K Gemütlichkeit "Fun Run" begins at 11am and is designed for the 12 and under runner to promote fitness with the emphasis on finishing rather than placing. A finishing memento is awarded at the finish line! The start line for the 2K is the same starting location as the 5K Run and 5K Walk and finishes in same chute as all other events. - parents are welcome to run with their 2K participant
Aid stations, supplying water and ice, are throughout the courses (see maps for specific locations). Emergency Medical Technicians are in contact with REACT officials on the course in the event of medical emergencies.
All races start in Heritiage Park. Runners will be seeded at the start by the honor system. Please be conscious of your fellow runners, if you are a slower runner or are running with strollers or dogs please line up in the back.
The National Anthem will be at 7:55 a.m.
The 10K race will start promptly at 8:00 a.m.
The 20K run will start promptly at 8:15 a.m.
The 10K and 20K starts are in Heritage Park, along the river. A banner is displayed over the start line marking the location of the 10K and 20K start.
The 5K race will start promptly at 10:00 a.m.
Walkers taking part in the 5K Competitive walk are asked to start at the rear of the 5K runners and will be starting promptly at 10:02 a.m.
The 2K Gemütlichkeit run will start at 11:00 a.m
All races finish in Heritiage Park all at the same Finish Line. At the finish line runners will be treated to free fruit, bagels and other refreshments.
Runners must cross the finish line with their D-tag attached to their shoe to be scored.
All Gemütlichkeit participants will receive a memento as they leave the finish area.
The Party wraps up in picnic like setting along the banks of the Cass River. Enjoy a lunch fresh off the grill, browse through the Runners Marketplace, refresh in a cool beverage from the Beer Garten while the "oom-pah-pah" of a German Band plays in the background.
Awards ceremony for top finishers is in Jaycee Pavilion at noon.
Be courteous and follow the rules of the road. Slow runners or walkers should stay to the right and let others pass on the left. Avoid blocking the course by running or walking shoulder to shoulder in large groups. Do not stop on the course! If you must stop to rest or tire your shoelace, slowly make you way off the course to the side of the road.
Unofficial times will be posted as soon as they are available at the end of each race.
Any complaints must be registered at the office of the official scorekeeper. This office is located in the Rotary building at the sidewalk entrance of the park.
The decision of the official scorekeeper is FINAL.
5K competitive walkers will be disqualified if three other race walkers report your number for running during the race.
Free Parking is available in a grassy lot to the South of Heritage Park.
Please be advised parking close to the race routes, especially when close to Heritage Park can result in delayed exit times.
If you need to depart prior to the conclusion of the last race, approximately 11:30am, it is advised to park closer to Main Street in Frankenmuth, roughly a ½ mile walk to Heritage Park.
Restrooms are available at Heritage Park and just past the 12K mark on the 20K route.
