The Frankenmuth Jaycees are proud to bring you the 37th annual running of the Volksläufe. In the spirit of family, friendship, and fitness the Volksläufe continues to excel as one of the Midwest's finest road races. All Volksläufe events are held on certified courses, beginning and ending in Heritage Park. Split times are provided throughout the course and aid stations are located at approximately 3k intervals.

The Frankenmuth Jaycees are proud to bring you the 4th annual running of the Winterläufe. This winter run is the sister race to the Jaycee's Annual Volksläufe. Winterläufe will be held on a certified course, beginning and ending in Downtown Frankenmuth. Registration, Post Race Entertainment, and Awards will be held in the Historic Fischer Hall on Main Street in Frankenmuth.

Going Green/Recycling at Volkslaufe 2012
Medals4Mettle- Please bring any medals (marathon, half marathon, & triathlon finisher medals) you wish to donate when you attend the race expo & packet pickup on July 3 & 4, 2012. Please look for the Medals4Mettle Banner for the drop off table. Medals are then given to children or adults dealing with chronic or debilitating illnesses & have demonstrated similiar mettle, or courage in bravely facing these challenges. Sole4Souls Shoe drive- The Cobbler's Bench of Frankenmuth & the Volkslaufe are working together to collect "gently worn" footwear (athletic, running, dress, sandals, pumps, work boots, cleats, flip flops, etc) at this year's Volkslaufe. Please bring shoes on July 3 & July 4, 2012 and look for Sole4Souls donation boxes in the race expo area.
Recycling- The Volkslaufe recycles- cardboard, plastic & alumniun bottle/cans- please look for appropriate recyling containers and help us recycle and be GREEN!!!
Packet Pick-up
RACE PACKETS CAN BE PICKED UP AT HERITAGE PARK IN FRANKENMUTH ON TUESDAY, JULY 3RD, 2012- 5pm to 10pm or RACE DAY, WEDNESDAY JULY 4TH, 2012- 6AM to 10:30AM (at least 1/2 hour before your race start)
